CARBONTEC SHOP

At Carbontec Shop all our products are produced using 100% carbon fibre and epoxy resins. We use a process known as Vacuum Assisted Resin Transfer Moulding (VARTM example) or resin infusion where the carbon fibre is laid dry in heated moulds and compressed under vacuum at 14.7 lbs/sq inch. Resin is then transferred to the mould by the vacuum, this ensures the absolute minimum amount of resin to carbon fibre ratio resulting in a part that  is extremely strong and very  light.

There are two main  styles of  weave  to  choose  from,  4 x 4 or 2 x 2 twill these being the most visually striking. The available finishes are high gloss or matt which are UV stable 2k paint finishes.
