We were asked a few months ago if we would produce the banana pod. Well as you can see it is now here. This is an exact replica of the original right down to the fixing points behind the cover and right hand top corner.
The parts shown are produced using 100% 2 x 2 twill carbon fibre and epoxy resin under vacuum and then post cured. It is half the weight of the original and as shown finished in 2K matt and gloss lacquer.
We will be producing these to order so the customer can specify either
2 x 2 or 4 x 4 twill carbon and either matt or high gloss finishes. They will also be able to specify which way the want the weave to run to suit other parts they may have. The dial section can also be left in to suit those who may have aftermarket secs monitors. This product is made to order and will have a 3 week lead time.
We may produce these for LHD vehicles depending on interest.
